Key Practice Areas: Estate plans and elder law, business law, entity funding, probate and trust settlement, property agreements, contracts, guardianships, special needs planning, fiduciary support, and civil litigation support.

Key Job Responsibilities: Case management and coordination with attorneys and clients.Train and mentor paralegals and interns. Legal research. Draft documents for attorney review and prepare documents for presentment to clients and the courts. Notary Public. Assist clients in dealing with their financial institutions and advisors. Interact with many county and state agencies (e.g., Secretary of State, Department of Revenue, Department of Licensing, County Assessors), as well as, federal agencies, including the IRS and Veterans Administration. Coordinate services for clients' out-of-state property interests and entities. Liaison.

Office Administration including accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor relations, payroll and general office matters.

Job Satisfaction: Building relationships with clients adds meaning to my work, especially when providing support and peace of mind to clients facing a difficult situation, like the death or disability of a loved one. I particularly like working with seniors and often go to care facilities to serve our elderly clients. I also enjoy the opportunity to be on our radio show.

Personal Interest: I enjoy mentoring, volunteering for youth activities and have coached girls (2nd and 3rd grade) basketball. I love nature walks, road trips, and exploring new places. I am curious by nature and continually seek knowledge. I enjoy crossword puzzles, Sudoku, and playing cards. My best times are spent with my amazing daughters, Emma and Phoebe.
